Web Wise Kids in partnership with Symantec, Inc. and the American Association of School Librarians (AASL) is working to establish and implement a coordinated, effective Internet safety effort that increases public awareness about Internet safety issues; and provide training and instruction to media and technology specialists about Internet safety across the United States.

This interactive and informative training will produce Web Wise Kids' Community Trainers.  Each trainer will conduct 5 trainings to students and parents in their community.  Each trainer will receive training materials, MISSING, CyberCops and unlimited access to our parent program, Wired With Wisdom.  Each participant will a receive $90 stipend.  Training participants must be present for the entire training.

Web Wise Kids



Web Wise Kids is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating today’s youth about the dangers of online predators and teaching them how to make wise choices online. Web Wise Kids offers innovative programs specifically designed to meet the Internet safety needs created by emerging technology. MISSING, CyberCops and Mirror Image were designed for middle and high school children and are based on true stories. They are high-tech computer game simulations, based on real-life criminal cases, prepare today’s youth to safely and confidently explore the growing world of cyberspace. We also have a user-friendly parent education program that educates adults on ways to keep their children safe from online dangers and increases their knowledge on current trends on the Internet.
